NORTHERN WATER SERVICES BOARD (NWSB)

INVITATION FOR BIDS

NCB NO:  NWSB/T/CW/004/2013-2014

PROJECT: BULLAN BANAN WATER PROJECT.

Northern Water Services Board a State Corporation under the Ministry of Environment, Water and Natural Resources, has received funds from UNICEF for use during the financial year 2013 – 2014 and intends to use part of these funds to cover eligible payments under the contract for Bullan Banan Water Project.

Northern  Water Services Board now invites sealed Tenders from eligible contractors

The works involves but are not limited to the following-:
Lot No: 1
Descriptions: Construction of 100 M3 Steel Tank with 15m Steel Tower

Lot No: 2
Descriptions: Equipping of borehole with geneset, submersible pump, construction of Pump House, Cattle trough, Water Kiosk and Rising main

Interested eligible candidates may obtain further information from and inspect the tender documents at Northern Water Service Board, P.O Box 495-70100, Kismayu Road, Maji House Carissa, Tel 046 210 3598, Fax : 046 210 3197 during normal working hours from the Procurement office.

A Complete set of tender documents can be obtained by interested candidates upon payment of non-refundable fees of Kshs 1,000.00 per set of documents in cash or banker’s cheque payable to Northern Water Services Board.

The completed tender documents in plain sealed envelope clearly marked “Tender For Bullan Banan Water Project and Lot number” should be addressed and sent to:

Or, may be deposited in tender box situated on the ground floor at Northern Water Services Board office Garissa so as to be received on or before the 5th November 2013 at 11.00 am. Prices quoted should be in Kenya Shillings and shall remain valid for 120 days from the closing date of the tender.

The tenders will be opened immediately thereafter in NWSB conference room in the presence of bidders or their representatives who may wish to attend.
The board reserves the right to accept or reject any application in part or whole, and is not bound to give reason for its decision. Late bids will be rejected.
Youth and Women groups are encouraged to apply, but should demonstrate qualifications, capability and experience.
