TENDER

The County Government of West Pokot invites sealed tenders from eligible and interested contractors/suppliers for the undermentioned;

Bidders must provide valid and certified copies of the following:

Certificate of incorporation or Business registration

Valid tax compliance certificate

Kenya Revenue authority PIN certificate

Certificate from National Construction authority where applicable

Audited accounts for the last three years

The names, qualifications and experience of key personnel

Details of major equipment relevant for use in the project(s) applied for and ownership status

Copies of details of similar works/goods/services provided in the last three years

Detailed evaluation criteria is attached in the tender documents

Bid bonds as specified above should be strictly in the form of a bank guarantee or bankers cheque from a reputable commercial bank or from an insurance company approved by PPRA. Bid bond should be valid for 150 days

Interested eligible candidates may obtain further information and specification details from and inspect tender documents at the Supply Chain Management Office, County Treasury Building, Ground Floor during normal working hours.

A complete set of tender documents should be obtained by interested suppliers/contractors upon payment of non-refundable fees of Kenya Shillings One Thousand only (Kshs 1000.00) for each tender in cash or through bankers cheque payable to West Pokot County Government.

Duly filled tender documents are to be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes marked with tender number and be deposited in the tender box at County Treasury Reception or be addressed to:

So as to be received on or before Friday 11th November 2016 at 11.00 am

Prices quoted should be net inclusive of all taxes and delivery must be in Kenya shillings and shall remain valid for (120) days from the closing date of the tender.

Tenders will be opened the same day at I 1.00 am at the County Treasury Main Boardroom, Ground Floor. Bidders or their representatives who choose to witness the opening are invited to attend.

The county government of West Pokot does not bind itself to accept the lowest tender.
