INVITATION TO TENDER

The County Government of Kiambu invites sealed tenders from eligible construction companies for the Proposed construction of roads projects.

Interested contractors who are registered with the National Construction Authority and specified categories. Tender documents with detailed specification and conditions are downloaded from the kiambu county website www.kiambu.go.ke free of charge.

The mandatory pre-tender site visits will be held on 2nd February 2017 at respective sites. People will converge:-

Proposed Access to Mushroom Estates road, Kiambu Sub-County offices

Proposed Construction of Chania bridge, Thika Sub-County offices

Proposed Construction of Riuriro bridge

Proposed construction of Kiambu Buspark

All pretender visits starts at 10.00 Am.

Tenderer’s MUST:-

Attach a copy of VAT Registration Certificate

Attach a copy ofcertificateof Business Registration /Incorporation

Attach a copy of current and valid Tax Compliance Certificate

Attach a copy of Registration certificate with NCA

Attach proof of works of similar experience being completion certificates

Proof access/ownership of necessary equipment and key personnel

Proof of sound financial standing being a oertified bank statement for 2015 and 2016.

Attach Litigation history of the company

Fill confidential business questionnaire

Attach 2% valid bid bond I

Attach pre-tender site visit certificate to be issued by Sub-County Engineer during the pre-tender site visit.

Attach current single business permit (Local contractors have an added advantage)

Completed tender documents to be enclosed in plain sealed envelope clearly marked Tender No and Tender Name must be deposited in the tender box at RUIRU SUB-COUNTYat the chambers or sent by post to:

So as to reach them at 12.00 noon on or before 16th February 2017 respectively, and to be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend at the Ruiru Sub-County Chambers.

Prices quoted must remain valid for One Hundred and Twenty (120) days from the date of the tender opening.
