TENDER NOTICE

The County Government of Homabay invites tenders from eligible and qualified construction companies (bidders) with relevant experience for the proposed road works .

To be funded by Road Maintenance Fuel Levy Fund (RMLF), 2016/2017 FY.

Interested bidders can cjbtain the Tender documents at the County Headquarters, Procurement Office, between 8.00 am to 5.00 pm upon payment of a non-refundable fee of One thousand shillings only (Kshs. 1,000) in Cash or Bankers cheque to Homa Bay County Government.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS.

Certified copy of registration/Certificate of incorporation.

Copy of current Valid Tax Compliance Certificate.

Certified copy of Registration with National Construction Authority [NCA] in the relevant category.

Valid Business permit certified by commissioner for Oaths.

Proof of purchase of tender document.

Bid bond of 2% of the sum quoted.

A copy of letter of Prequalification by the County Government of Homa Bay.

OTHER REQUIRMENTS.

Evidence of Previous similar work done/ experience.

Equipment holding.

Professional and Technical Personnel.

Turnover and Liquid assets supported by Audited accounts for the last two years.

Duly filled confidential Business Questionnaire.

Duly filled Form of Tender.

Current workload.

NB;In addition to the above requirements, Youth, Women and people with Disabilities (SPECIAL GROUP) MUST provide proof of registration as a disadvantaged group/ AGPO Registration.

Mandatory pre-tender site visits will be held as indicated above beginning 9.30 am starting from department of transport HQ offices. Contractors are advised to make their own transport arrangements to the sites.

Complete tender documents put in plain sealed envelopes and marked “Tender No…………………………….. “should be deposited in the Tender

Box at the entrance of the County Headquarter offices. Office of the Governor, or be addressed to The County Government of Homa Bay P. O Box 469 – 40300 Homa Bay so as to be received on or before Thursday 26th JANUARY 2017 at 10.00AM Tenders will be opened at the boardroom immediately thereafter in the presence of bidders who choose to attend.

Late tenders shall not be accepted.
