TENDER NOTICE

 

REHABILITATION AND REPAIR OF KIBUNJA – MOLO (D316) ROAD

The Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KeRRA) is a State corporation established under the Kenya Roads Act, 2007, with the responsibility for management, development, rehabilitation and maintenance of rural roads.

The Authority hereby invites Bidders from eligible construction companies on behalf of Ministry Transport and Infrastructure for improvement of the above road to be funded through the Development vote as detailed here below:-

The Scope of Works involves Upgrading to Bitumen Standard of Kibunja Molo Road (D316)

Mandatory requirements for Bidding are as follows:-

 

Certified copy of Certificate of Incorporation

Certified copy of proof of registration with National Construction Authority Category ‘NCA 3’ and above for Road Works

VAT registration

PIN registration

Valid Tax compliance certificate

A pre-Bid site visit for the project shall be held on 23rd April, 2015 at 10.00 a.m starting from the Regional Manager’s office, Nakuru County.

Bidders are requested to download full details of the advertisement and tender document from the IFMIS supplier portal: supplier.treasury.go.ke or/and our webite www.kerra.go.ke free of charge.

Bidders can also purchase hard copies of the tender document from our offices 6lh floor, Blue Shield Towers, Hospital Road upper Hill at a cost of Kshs. 1000 in banker’s cheque payable to Kenya Rural Roads Authority.

Or deposited in the Bid box on the 6th floor, Blue Shield Towers, Hos­pital Road upper Hill, so as to be received on or before 7th May, 2015 at 11.00am. Tender box will be closed at 11.00am and opened at 11.15am.

This tender is exclusively reserved for Citizen Contractors.

Opening of the Bids will take place immediately thereafter at the confer­ence room. Blue Shield Towers, 6th floor in the presence of Bidders/ Representatives who wish to attend.
