TENDER DESCRIPTION: Tarmacking of Wajir Town Roads to Bitumin standard. [Township Roads, Sections of Manyalo, Bor Road, Ganyore, Wagalla & ADC RoadS] 7.8 KM

MANDATORY SITE VISIT: At department of roads boardroom

DATE AND TIME: Wednesday 3rd September 2014 at 10.00 AM

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the tender documents in CD form at the procurement office, situated at the Wajir County Government Headquarters, Airport Road – Wajir, during normal working hours upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Kshs. 1,000 (Kenya Shillings One Thousand Only) for each document in form of a Bankers Cheque payable to the County Government of Wajir.

Mandatory Requirements:

Certified copy of Certificate of Registration/Incorporation.

Certified Copy of valid Tax Compliance Certificate.

Certified Copy of registration certificate with the National Construction Authority (category 3 and above).

Certified Copy of Recent CR1 2 Form (1 2 Months) from Registrar of Companies.

List of at least three similar projects undertaken.

Bid Bond of 3 Million and above.

Plants and Machinery (attach Logbooks)

Attach CV of Lead Engineers (personnel-site agent, deputy, foreman, engineers etc).

Audited Financial accounts for the last three years (financial capacity).

NB. Certification must be by a Commissioner of Oaths or Notary Public Description of Works

The description and scope of works is as described in the tender documents.

A Mandatory site visits shall be held on the date, venue and time as per the schedule above.

Prices quoted should include all taxes and must be expressed in Kenya Shillings and shall remain valid for a period of 120 days from the date of tender opening. Completed tender documents enclosed in separate plain sealed envelopes and clearly marked with the Tender Number and be deposited in the tender box located at the Wajir County Government Headquarters, Airport Road – Wajir, so as to be received on or before Tuesday, 16th September 2014 at 10.00 a.m.

Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of those tenderers or their representatives who choose to attend. Late bids will not be accepted.
