Eastern and Central Africa’s biggest home show, the Kenya Homes Expo officially kicked off today. The Home expo opened at the Kenyatta International Conference Center and will run from April 16th to April 19th.
The expo will run from 8am to 6pm with the exhibitors situated at the Tsavo, Aberdare/Lenana exhibiting halls and the courtyard area. The bi-annual, four day event aims to connect professionals, stakeholders and the public to the growing real estate industry. As well, the event hopes to inform and create businesses and prosperous connections among participants within the real estate sector.
The popular Kenya home expo boasted a large number of exhibitors even more than the 200 exhibitors that participated in 2013. The expo hosts both local and international exhibitors from different areas of the real estate business. Visitors of the Kenya Homes Expo have a chance to connect with players from the industry including, developers, realtors, interior designers, architects and engineers. Moreover, there are various cutting edge technologies on display offering visitors a chance to see the ideas emerging from the real estate industry.
As the real estate continues to boom in response to the expanding middle class, the expo offers an opportunity for visitors interact with key real estate industry players. Moreover with the ever-increasing price tag on real estate, the expo gives exhibitors a chance to make quick sales while visitors get good bargains.
As the Kenya Homes Expo opens, there is hope that issues of affordable housing, lower mortgage rates and other issues plaguing the real-estate sector in Kenya will be brought to light.
