Transmara Sugar Company Ltd has received an infrastructure grant from the Sugar Development Fund for the procurement of road construction equipment and hereby invites Tenders from reputable and interested bidders for the supply of below listed equipment

Only Bidders with the following qualities will be considered:

•   Manufacturers, Distributors or Authorized Dealers of specified item.

•   Ability to provide training and after sales service

•   Proven experience in supply, testing and commissioning of similar equipment.

Interested bidders must also attach the following;

1.   Certificate of Registration / Incorporation

2.   Valid Tax Compliance Certificate

3.   Copy of VAT / PIN Certificate

4.   Current single business permit

5.   Detailed Company Profile

6.   Experience in similar work

7.   Audited Financial Accounts for the last 2 years

8.  Tenders should be accompanied by a bid bond of 2% from an established and approved Insurance Company which must remain valid for 30 days after the tendered period of 120 days.

9.   Tender Forms can be obtained at our Mombasa Office at a Fee of KShs. 1,000.00.

10.  Prices quoted must be net, inclusive of all Government taxes, must be in Kenyan Shillings and shall remain valid for 120 days from the closing date of Tender. .

11.  Bids should be submitted in plain sealed envelopes clearly marked Tender No. TSCL/RD/2013-5 and addressed to :

and placed at the Tender Box at the reception at our Mombasa Office. Deadline for submission of Bids is Monday 14th  October 2013, at 11:00 am. All Received Tenders shall be opened immediately thereafter and Tenderers’ Representatives are encouraged to attend.
