TENDER NOTICE

1. Tender No. MOYAS/YT/01/2012-2013 – Supply and delivery of workshop tools

2. Tender No. MOYAS MOYAS /YT/02/2012-2013 – Supply, delivery and installation of hatchery machines

3. Tender No. MOYAS MOYAS/YT/03/2012-2013 – supply and delivery of beehive and honey processing unit

4. Tender for construction of youth Empowerment centres in various counties as shown in the table

The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports invites bids for supply and delivery of workshops tools, Hatchery machines, Beehive and Honey processing units and for construction of youth empowerment centres.
 
Bidders wishing to apply for construction of youth empowerment centres must be registered with the Ministry of Public Works in category F and above (Proof of current registration is required). Each District will allocate a specific tender number according to their current running tender register for tenders for construction of youth empowerment centers.

Tender documents for tender no. 1 -3 may be purchased from the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports. P. O. Box 34303 – 00100 Nairobi Kencom Building 3rd floor Room 372 payment of a non refundable fee of KShs. 3,000.00 (Three thousand only) either in cash of bankers cheque payable to the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports. The tenders for construction of youth empowerment centres may be purchased from respective District Commissions office – procurement section upon payment of a non refundable fee of Kenya shillings 3, 000 (Three thousand shillings only) either in cash or bankers cheque payable to respective District Commissioner (DCs) Cash office.
 
Completed set of tender documents (for tender number 1 – 3 ) in plain sealed envelope, clearly marked the respective Tender No. description and bearing the address of Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Youth affairs & Sports , P. O. Box 34303 – 00100 Nairobi should be returned and deposited in the tender box at the Ministries headquarters at Kencom Building, 3rd floor. Tenders for construction of youth empowerment centres should clearly indicate the name and address of the respective District Commissioner and be returned and deposited in the Respective District Commissioners tender box on or before 3rd October 2012 at 10. 00 am.
 
Tenders will be opened immediately after closing date and time in the presence of the tenders or their representatives who choose to attend. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid security of Kshs. 100, 000/- for a recognized institution and valid for 120 days from the closing day.
