TENDER NOTICE

PRE-QUALIFICATION OF TERM CONTRACTORS FOR RENOVATION AND MAINTENANCE WORKS FOR THE PERIOD 2015/2016 & 2016/2017

TENDER NO. MLHUD/DH/ED/27/2014/15

The Government of Kenya through the Ministry of Land, Housing and Urban Development intends to pre-qualify eligible contractors for the Renovation and Maintenance works for the financial years 2015/2016 and 2016/2017.

The Ministry invites sealed tenders from eligible building contractors for the Renovation and Maintenance works.

The minimum requirements for the prospective tenders are as follows:-

Must be registered company incorporated in Kenya

Must be registered by the National Construction Authority. Proof of registration required.

Must be tax compliant (Proof of such compliance).

Youth, women and people living with disabilities should provide the necessary registration certificate from the National Treasury.

Interested contractors who meet the above minimum requirements may obtain a set of tender documents in person from the Supply Chain Management Office, MTC Secretariat, 6th floor. Wing ‘B’ Ministry of Land, Housing and Urban Development Headquarters, Ardhi House, off Ngong Road, Nairobi, during normal working hours free of charge or download from the Ministry’s website: www. ardhi.go.ke

Tender bids in a plain sealed envelope marked “Tender No. MLHUD/DH/ED/27/2014/15 for Term Contractors for Renovation and Maintenance Works for the financial years 2015/2016 and 2016/2017 and bearing no other indication of the identity of the tenderer should be addressed to:-

And be deposited in the Tender Box located on 6th floor. Ministry of Land, Housing &Urban Development Headquarters, Ardhi House, Nairobi, not later than 19th May, 2015 at 10.00 am.

Received tenders shall be opened publicly immediately thereafter in the presence of tenderers or their representatives who wish to attend on the 6Th floor Boardroom, Ministry of Land, Housing & Urban Development Headquarters. Late bids shall be returned unopened.

The Government of Kenya reserves the right to reject any tender without giving reasons thereof.
