TENDER NOTICE

ROUTINE MAINTENANCE OF ENDEBES –SUAM – CUSTOMS (C45)

TENDER NO. KENHA/569/2012

The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) DJIS A State Corporation established under the Kenya Roads Act, 2007 with the responsibility for Management, Development, Rehabilitation and maintenance of national Roads.

The Authority hereby invites bids from eligible contractors for provision of Routine Maintenance of ENDEBES – Suam Customs (C45) Road to be funded through the Road Maintenance Levy Fund.

QUALIFICATION FOR TENDERING

Mandatory Requirements

The following must be submitted together with the bid:

Certified copy of certified of incorporation
Certified copy of Registration certificate with the Ministry of Roads in either classes D, E,. & F
Certified copy of valid Tax Compliance certificate
Certified copy of single business permit
Equipment holding as per Tender document.

Other Requirements are as detailed in the tender document

Procurement shall be based on the post qualification method and the above details will be submitted with the priced bid.

There shall be a mandatory pre-tender site visit on 28th November 2012 starting at 11 am at Entebbe Market.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain the tender documents from Procurement Office, Kenya National Highways Authority Headquarters, Blue Shield Towers, Ground floor, Hospital Road, Upper Hill, during normal working hours (8. 00 to 5. 00 pm) upon payment of a non refundable fee OF Kshs. 5, 000 (Five thousand shillings only) in form of bankers cheque only payable to Kenya National Highways Authority. Please note that any documents submitted without an official receipt will be rejected.

Or deposited in the Tender Box on the mezzanine floor, Blue Shield Towers, Hospital Road, Upper hill so as to be received at 12. 00 noon on Monday 10th December 2012.

Opening of the bids will take place immediately thereafter at the Board Room, 3rd floor, blue shield Towers, Hospital ROAD, upper hill in the presence of Tenderers/representatives who choose to attend.
