TENDER NOTICE

TENDER NO. KU/TNDR/25/PWKUAC/2012 – 2013

PARTITIONING WORKS FOR THE PROPOSED KENYATTA UNIVERSITY ARUSHA CAMPUS

Kenyatta University wishes to engage eligible construction who must be registered building contractors to undertake the above works.

The qualification information to be submitted shall include:

A) Mandatory Requirements

1. Pin number / VAT certificate

2. Certified copy of certificate of incorporation (valid)

3. Certified copy of registration certificate as a building contractor

4. Mandatory site visit

5. Proof of eligibility to work in Tanzania

B) Other Requirements

1) Similar previous experience

2) Other equipment plants available

3) Professional and technical personnel

4) Current work load

5) Map showing physical location 

There will be a mandatory site visit for al tenderers on Tuesday 6th November 2012 at 10. 00 am. Tenders are to congregate outside the parking lot of MEGA COMPLEX, Arusha situated along Market Street, opposite the Stadium.

Interested eligible tenderers may collect there document for Kenya University Procurement Department room 20, during normal working hours.

Alternatively tenderers can collect tender documents during the site visit date 6th November 2012.

1. Only bidders who attend the mandatory site visit shall qualify to apply.

2. Completed tender documents shall be sealed and marked as stated in the particular tender document and be deposited in the tender box at MEGA complex – (Basement Floor) to be received on or before Tuesday 27th November 2012 at 10. 00 am.

3. Submission will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of the tenderers or their representatives who choose to attend.
