KENYA TECHNICAL TEACHERS TRAINING COLLEGE

INVITATION TO TENDER FOR BUILDING WORKS

Kenya technical Teachers College invites contractors to bid for the construction of Institutional Management Training Centre, at its main campus situated at Gigiri, in Nairobi.

Interested eligible contractors may obtain a set of tender documents form the Procurement office after payment of 5, 000. 00 nonrefundable fee in cash or bankers cheque payable to Kenya Technical Teachers College. Only those meeting the following minimum criteria will be considered for further evaluation:

1. Proof of Ministry of Public Works registration and be in category “C” or above

2. Be ready to provide bid security bond form a reputable bank on award of the contract

3. Meet all statutory requirements as per the Public Procurement and Disposal Act, 2005

4. Provide evidence of financial, personnel and equipment capability necessary for carrying out the works

5. Provide litigation history

6. Provide audited financial statements for eh last two years

7. Must have completed a minimum of two projects of similar magnitude and complexity I the last five years

8. Prices quoted must remain valid for ninety (90) days from the date of opening the tender.

Bidders shall submit one original and one copy of tender documents clearly marked “ORIGINAL” or “COPY” in a plain sealed envelope clearly marked KTTC/TENDER Number 1/2012 and bearing no indication of name of the bidder and addressed to:

The bids should be place in the tender box situated at the reception in the administration block not later than 23rd November 2012 at 10. 00 am.

Tender documents shall be opened in the Board Room at 10. 15 am the same day.
