TENDER INVITATION
Rural Electrification Authority (REA) intends to use renewable energy to reduce the operating and maintenance costs of it’s newly constructed off grid – diesel power stations. To this end, the Authority wishes to install Solar Photovoltaic generation plants in the towns listed below through tender:

The Tender documents detailing the requirements are available for inspection and collection for the office of the Manager, Procurement & Supplies situated on the 6th floor, The Chancery Building, Valley Road, Nairobi on normal working days from 9.30 am to 12. 30pm and 2. 00PM TO 3.30PM upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Kshs. 5, 000 paid through the REA Account; Kenya Commercial Bank, Milimani Branch, Account No. 110320 1557. Completed tender documents in plain sealed envelopes clearly marked with the Tender Reference Number and Description should be sent to:-

Tenders will be opened immediately in the presence of the candidates or their representatives who choose to attend.
 
Rural Electrification Authority reserves the right to accept toe reject all tenders either in whole or in part and is not bound to give reasons thereof.
